Fancy you Green

Hope you are all having a good start to your week. My Monday started with all day training at Nordstrom and I have to say I am beyond excited and love the team I will be working with. Today I am sharing with you this gorgeous green dress. As you know spring is coming and this is the perfect color to welcome it with. The combination of the fitted, lace skirt hugs your curves perfectly and the pleated top helps conceal a busty chest. Paired with a neutral, peep top pump gives it the perfect soft touch. Everyday Black Dress

Hi everyone,

I am so excited to announce that Nordstrom is opening here in Puerto Rico and I get to be a part of the team as a Sales Person for Salon Shoes (DESIGNER SHOES!!)! I am beyond ecstatic and I hope to keep you guys in the know of everything that happens with the store and the latest trends they bring in the store! 

Today I am sharing this gorgeous black dress from Selfie Boutik. It is so simple and elegant with just a little touch of daring with the see-through lace in the top. Perfect for an everyday dress that can be worn with flats and changed to a night dress with heels. If you don't have your LBD (little black dress) this is a good option due to its versatility. In my particular case, I have a petite frame ( I am 5' 3") and it is the perfect length to wear to multiple activities like work. I am also on the busty side and most of the time I like to conceal that aspect and this dress does a wonderful job at that. Hope this helps and remember all the information is at the end of the post! Chick and Nerdy

Hi lovely readers,

I am sharing my outfit for an activity a had a few days ago. The activity was from my university, recognition for students in the Honor Roll. So it could be said I am a bit of a nerd :p, but who says nerds can't have style. For this activity I am all decked out in BCBG, shoes are BCBGeneration and the dress if from BCBGMaxazria. I curled my hair and as always, makeup was minimal. Hope you enjoy the look!

Fiery Red

Hello lovely fashionistas,

Christmas is upon us, that magical time of year where you feel joy and excitement. But better yet, where you get that red dress out of your closet to finally ware with that red hot lipstick! Today I am sharing this "fiery red dress" from Marshall's paired with gold accessories (necklace from Charlotte Russe) and beige sandals from INC. I am waring a red lipstick that was gifted to me, yet I am still in the search for the perfect red hot lipstick, hope to find it soon. In the mean time I hope you enjoy these pics :)

Wedding Time!

Hi readers,

It has been a long time since my last post. I am so sorry it is taking so long to keep posting, but this is one crazy semester. Though if you want to know whats going on in my life you could follow my instagram account (I try to post daily; you can find me by mariolasblog). A weekend ago I went to a wedding with this lovely dress I've had for like 3 years already (hence the dress is not the focus). This post is more about the make-up than anything else. I had my makeup done at Sephora and I have to say I LOVED IT! It was perfect, exactly what I wanted, and best part was that the makeup stylist gave me tips and advice as she did my make-up.
