MMVA Awards 2014!

Hi fashionistas,

Yesterday was the MMVA Awards and though I did not get the chance to see it, everywhere news explored about the Jenner twins. And being a fashion blogger I think it's only right that I give my take on the two most outstanding outfits of the night. First let's talk about Kendall's double, super high slit dress... I have to admit the dress is just gorgeous!! But for me, it's a bit too daring and revealing. I don'd find it appropriate no matter what the age. Maybe if the slits were lower the dress would just have been amazing! The second outfit is Kylie's Alon Livne jumpsuit. The only thing I have to say is: OBSESSED!! Completely loved it! Sure, maybe its a bit too revealing for a 16 year old, but I just loved everything about it. Beneath are the pictures; Kendall's dress and Kylie's jumpsuit.

LBD- The Little Black Dress

Hello,

For today's post I want to talk about one article of clothing that is a MUST have in the closet; and that article is LBD (Little Black Dress). A LBD is described as an evening or cocktail dress, cut simply and often quite short. Fashion historians ascribe the origins of the little black dress to the 1920s designs of Coco Chanel and Jean Patou intended to be long-lasting, versatile, affordable, accessible to the widest market possible and in a neutral color. After giving this little background, I want to say that although it may be a cliché, the truth is that once you find that perfect LBD it WILL take you anywhere. It could be dressed up or down, depending on shoes and accessories. Having this in mind,   I decided to give myself a little homework to help you readers, so there are two pictures of two black dresses I have (though I don't think any of them are my LBD) and a couple of other inspirations. Hope this helps you get inspiration! :)

Both dresses are very simple and demure front, yet a little bit of a twist on the back by showing some skin. The best part is that with a cute blazer it can become a more serious look.
